2009 FEED-A-FRIEND CAMPAIGN

 

Now in its 25th year, WNEP-TV, Pepsi-Cola and our generous community have collected and distributed food to needy families during the Holiday Season. The combined efforts of numerous agencies, civic groups, schools and businesses help bring in food and money to make this program such a great success!

WNEP-TV coordinates all the soliciting agencies.  These agencies represent food banks, soup kitchens, churches, Salvation Armies, Red Cross Chapters, Commissions on Economic Opportunity and the United Neighborhood Centers.  The agencies use these donations every year to help the local needy during the Holiday season and also to restock their pantry shelves.  All donations remain in the county in which they are collected.  The agencies listed serve as coordinators and distributors.
